Search Engine Friendly

The SEF module allows for your pages to appear as static HTML. To your users, this gives your site easy to read URLs. For instance, which of these looks easier to follow?

For your users as well as search engines our URLs are easier to follow. (Search engines, for the most part, don't catalog dynamic pages because they don't follow links past the '?' in the URL.)

Full File Management

ZaoCMS comes with a site-wide file management tool providing full functionality for both files and directories (upload, delete, move, rename, etc).

The administrator has the ability to add new users and define their permission level. Permissions can be applied to site pages/sections, the file management tool (restrict upload and delete ability) and to many of the modules.

SpamBot Protection

Out there on the World Wide Web, there are nasty little programs known as "spambots". All these little spider programs do is crawl around the web, searching for email addresses embedded in web pages. When they find them, they collect them and they are sold or otherwise circulated to unscrupulous people who want to send "spam", or unsolicited commercial email, some of which is pretty offensive.

ZaoCMS comes with a built in email obfuscation program which makes sure that your email address link works for humans but not for spambots!
